- Venue Overview
Beaconwood is an attractive extended Edwardian building situated in Crowborough, home of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and on the edge of Pooh Bear’s Ashdown Forest. Fringed by mature trees and shrubs, which afford a good photographic background, Beaconwood has excellent car parking and offers facilities for the disabled.
The spacious and welcoming reception room leads through a small picture gallery to the ceremony room. The warm pinks and blues of the décor combine with the chandeliers and large arched windows to provide a charming setting.
We have comfortable seating for 40 plus plenty of standing space and good photo and video opportunities. The room has been arranged to offer informality with dignity, with the chairs curving from a central aisle to the focal seating for the couple.
