Laughton Barns Wedding Venue is set in the heart of the Sussex South Downs, its 84 acres of lush greenery surround Laughton Barns. There are four picturesque ponds for the all-important photographs, and not a telegraph pole or overhead wire in sight.
The Crown Barn, which offers seating for up to 250 guests for your wedding breakfast, has been traditionally built using local oak, brick and stone. The barn with its rustic exposed beams and gothic style chandeliers comes to life on a beautiful sunny day; one entire side of the barn has bi-folding French doors that can be opened to give your wedding day an outdoors and very rural feel. Our young willow trees offer some shade on the drinks reception area after your ceremony where guests can sit and chat comfortably.
The separate 'Hovel Barn' is licensed for civil ceremonies where your guests can sit outdoors with Glyndebourne in the distance enjoying your very special ceremony in style.
The Licensed Barn also offers a fully lined marquee attached to the rear of the barn for the unpredictable weather so your wedding ceremony will take place inside. After the ceremony, you can stroll through the green fields to your drinks reception which will be waiting for you. All menus are designed by Circa Events.
