- Venue Overview
Preston Court is a standout, family owned and run venue on an idyllic private estate. We were voted No.3 by Buzzfeed as 'the most spectacular places to get married in the UK'.
We have two licensed areas - Juliana's medieval moated island which sits in front of the country house and inside the 17th Century Kentish barn. We also have a Saxon church on site.
There is a Victorian carousel and Showman's wagon, two Art Deco/Neauveau mechanical organs, beautiful grounds with two lakes, reception lawns and herbaceous borders, large attractive barnyard (which is a real sun trap), vintage garden games and props. We have some amazing caterers to choose from and a fully licensed staffed bar that serves local ales, artisan gins, fine wines, and cocktails.
- Venue Testimonials
- Magical Wedding amidst the Kent Flood - Preston Court is a magical venue. We fell in love with it the first day we set foot on the grounds and booked straight away after that. The day of the viewing was a beautiful sunny day and we planned the wedding to be half outside and half inside as the grounds are just stunning. Sadly on our wedding day last day of April this year, it was the worst weather of the year - with 1 degree, flooding all over Kent due to massive amounts of rain, I truly thought this will ruin our day. But the Preston Court team made sure we still had the best day ever. They adjusted the schedule at the last-minute and even though most of the running order was made for outside & inside combo, they did a marvelous job adjusting on the day and making sure all the suppliers and guests knew about the changes. I (bride) didn't have to do a thing and it turned out to be an amazing day despite the weather conditions. Yes, the venue is beautiful, but the staff deserves 5* as well as they were very accommodating, their email communication across the 7 months of planning was great and on-time, they answered all my questions, helped with all the suppliers and were just wonderful on the day as well. Thank you a million times for turning a rainy day into a ray of sunshine for us.
