We fell completely in love with the medieval period features, particularly the unique stone corbels, pictured above, with their impressive intricate design and flawless detail. This beautiful building was built originally as a hall-house and has recently undergone extensive restoration to create this picturesque and in our opinion, very special venue.

From the moment you arrive at Battel Hall you will be amazed at its beauty. During the months of April and May you will be greeted with a floral display of purple from the Wisteria, one of our most favourite plants, which covers parts of the building and has been thriving here for around 100 years.
For your wedding, there is a choice of holding an indoor ceremony in the oak-paneled ceremony room or your vows can be exchanged underneath the Old English Bower within Battel Halls' gorgeous and idyllic gardens. The house offers you and your guests the most private of wedding settings, 50 guests can share your wedding ceremony with you and up to 100 guests can join in with the celebrations at your evening reception.

There is an opportunity to extend your wedding day and stay at Battel Hall; it has five lavish en-suite bedrooms all with striking views over the gardens that surround the house and far-reaching views of the North Downs. If you look carefully you may even see a peak of Leeds Castle in the distance too. All the bedrooms have been beautifully designed and are named after plants, all adding to the charm of the building. There is a further self-contained, two-bedroom apartment the Battel Hall Oast located next door, that offers more guest accommodation, ideal for families.
We think Battel Hall has an enchanting and magical quality, that has definitely captivated our imagination with its history, beauty and stylish elegance.
